Men’s Basketball
Men's Varsity Basketball team was upset by the Hayward Farmers last Friday, to the tune of 42-38.
“As a team we need to come back to practice and go over our basics, talk to our team-figure out what we did wrong, and talk with our coaches to see how we can bounce back,” said Jacob Baca (12).
The JV team went 2-0 last week, beating San Lorenzo 69-30, and Hayward 47-35.
"We executed the 2-2-1 press very well, which helped our defense as well as our offense," said Jonah Abrami (10).
The Freshman squad lost to San Lorenzo 50-45, but bounced back and won against Hayward 43-25 last Friday.
“Even though we won, we still have that chip on our shoulder from that San Lorenzo loss," said Devin Yi (9).

The JV Lady Jets went on the road Jan 18 and defeated San Leandro 54-50 in OT.
"We realized that when we play as a team, we work best and that is what we did the last two games. I'm proud of the team for giving it their all," said Haley Hunh (9).
"It was a rough game…It was difficult because they played really aggressive,” added Katelyn Shafer (9).

Women’s Varsity Soccer
Varsity Soccer team cruised to a 5-0 victory against San Lorenzo last Friday.
"Because the defense kept so much composure the offense was able to build up and create more scoring opportunities,” said Alison Jenson (11)
I think the main thing about our team is that we want to succeed,” said Catie Price (10). “Our defense is incredible and our whole team gets back to defend fast. We really owe a lot to our back line and our awesome goalies.”
