Isa is a 2nd year publications staff member. She is class of 2023 and joined Horizon because of her interest in writing and design. Isa enjoys reading, rock climbing, listening to music, and spending time with friends. She is also a part of the Encinal varsity soccer team.

Stella is a second year publications staff member. She is class of 2023 and joined Horizon to contribute to the school's community and preserve the memories of students. Some hobbies she enjoys are going to the gym, writing, and hiking. She is also an intern at the School-Based Health Center's Youth Advisory Board.

Some hobbies she enjoys are playing volleyball, going shopping on Park Street, baking, and cooking. She is part of the school's Womens Varsity Volleyball team.

Gabby is a 2nd year publications staff member. She is the class of 2023 and joined Horizons because she was intrigued by how the yearbook was being made her first few years of being at Encinal. Some hobbies of her hobbies include journaling, listening to music, and collecting art for her room. She's apart of the varsity womens soccer team for Encinal and has been since her freshman year, she's hoping to finish out senior year on a good note.

Lola is a second year horizon staff. She is class of 2024 and joined Horizon because she loves the creativity and team bonding in the class. Some hobbies she does is play water polo, basketball, softball, and swim for the school.

Central focus: To have fun during my senior year and not stress so much on homework.
Reanna Soltero is a 1st year publications staff member. She is graduating class of 2023 and joined Horizon because she enjoys doodling and is excited to help design the new yearbook! She plays soccer, listens to music and hang out with her friends, her favorite spot is Top Up.

Remi is a first year publications staff member. She is class of 2025 and joined Horizon because she likes taking photos. Some hobbies she enjoys are piano, martial arts, and swimming. She is part of the school's water polo and swim team.

Central focus: Applying to colleges while balancing school work and the other social aspects of my life.
Judy Zhen is a first year publications staff member. She is a class of 2023 and joined Horizon because she wants to express her creative skills. Some hobbies she enjoys are playing the piano and violin, working at the Lodge, and going to concerts. She is part of the school's tennis team, an officer of the Model United Nations Club, and in other clubs like NHS, DECA, and Red cross.

Maleia Maxine Ferguson is a 10th grader this year and will graduate with the class of 25. She goes by she/her pronouns and is a first-year publications staff! She is on the school’s tennis team and loves writing, crocheting, listening to music, reading, and hanging out with her friends.

​Inky is a first year publications staff member. She is part of the Class of 2025 and joined Horizon because the community seemed so welcoming and the class offered many opportunities for hands-on learning. Some hobbies he enjoys are drawing and acting. Inky is part of the school's drama club and is the president of the Encinal GSA.

Crystal Le is a 1st year publications staff member. She is class of 2023 and joined Horizon because she enjoys photography and design. She is part of the school's Varsity Cheer team. Some hobbies she enjoys are painting, binging her favorite T.V. shows, and going out/spending time with her friends family.

Central focus: Film and music trends!
Sadie is a first year horizon staff member and is super excited to get out there! She is in the class of 2023 and joined horizon on accident, thinking it was a journalism class, a happy accident! Some hobbies she enjoys is watching/making movies and listening to music. She is been on the varsity women’s soccer team since freshman year and is the president of ceramics club.

Brian is a first year horizon staff member class of 2023 and joined Horizon because he wanted to see what it was like to publish a yearbook. A hobby he enjoys is playing games like 2k and madden. He is not currently playing any sports or any clubs he plans to join though

Naomi Chalem-Wallach is a first year publications staff member. She is class of 2023 and joined Horizon because she is very artistic and creative and wanted to help design the yearbook. Some hobbies she enjoys are painting and other art forms. She is part of the school's National Honor Society and Drama club.

Katherine Bautista is a first year publications staff member. She is class of 2023 and joined Horizon because it gets her involved and thought it was a new opportunity to learn more skills along with having fun at the same time. She is also a cheerleader and loves spending time with her family and friends.

Noah is a first year publications staff member. He is class of 2023 and joined Horizon after taking AP photo last year, looking to use and further enhance his photography skills. Some hobbies he enjoys are baking, going to the gym, hanging out with his friends and playing volleyball. He is part of the school's Varsity Mens volleyball team and the Go club. Kelly Guan is a senior and it's her first year as a yearbook staff. Kelly is currently taking her first AP class this year which is government. She is excited to graduate with all her friends this year and is hoping to get into a good college. Kelly can't wait to make this yearbook for all the students at Encinal.

Central focus: Graduating and applying to college
Alana Nget is a first year horizon publications staff member. She is class 2023 and joined because she wanted to experience how to create the yearbook and thought it was pretty cool it was a journalism class as well. Alana mostly spends her days going to school, some days going to work, most days cheer and then back home. Alana has been apart of Encinal’s cheerleading team since freshman year. Finally ending her senior year as one of the captains.
